From 25 May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to all EU countries. GDPR replaced the Swedish Data Protection Act (PUL).
GDPR has been developed to protect you as a customer and your rights regarding the handling and dissemination of your personal information.
Djingis Khan in Lund AB has overall personal responsibility. The company is responsible for and determines the purposes of handling, retrieving and using the personal data you provide to us. If we receive a data breach or if an accidental loss of personal information occurs, we will document the incident and report it to The Swedish Data Protection Authority (DPA) and affected customers within 72 hours.
Our booking system handles amounts of personal data. A personal data is data that identifies you as a person: name, address, telephone or mail. Information about your bookings, sales and activities is not included in personal data, as this is considered business secret and in many cases subject to accounting and accounting requirements. Djingis Khan in Lund AB does not need to obtain consent from you as a guest if you book a lodging, conference, party or restaurant visit when a customer agreement is concluded when a booking is made.
We never collect sensitive information about you, such as ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or personal data relating to health.
However, there are free fields in booking engine and guest surveys that can still enter our database. These data will only be provided to us if you as a guest choose to fill in these data in our questionnaires, otherwise it is not something that Djingis Khan in Lund actively stores. We therefore encourage all users of our reservation system to not enter sensitive entries in our systems.
We never share your personal data for sales or marketing purposes. However, we may be required to transfer your personal data to third parties due to applicable laws, for example in case of suspected crime.
If you have booked a stay, a party, a conference or a restaurant visit, you have the right to see the information stored about you in our booking system. You also have the right to have all your personal information stored on you deleted. Contact us at email@example.com.
Our booking system automatically unidentifies all guest profiles that have been inactive after 365 days. Inactive guest profiles are meant guests who have not booked a stay, a party, a conference or a restaurant visit for 365-days.
The unidentification means that the system removes all identifying capabilities so that the data that continues to be processed can no longer be linked to a physical person.
Warm welcome to us at Hotel Djingis Khan & Djingis Apartment!
